LinqiApp develops speaking and listening skills. You can meet Linqians from 175 different countries with different accents, backgrounds and interests. It will help you to learn how to speak on different topics and understand people from different parts of the world.
We recommend LinqiApp for users who have A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels of English proficiency.
You can know your language proficiency level by reading the level descriptions that you will see during sign-up.
Yes, it is helpful. Talking to someone else who is also learning can be useful in improving your language skills. Practice is key to becoming fluent and making mistakes is normal. As you use the language more, you will naturally get better and start to notice and correct more complex mistakes in your speaking.
After chatting with other Linqians in Hallway, you can receive feedback and advice on your English language skills. Moreover, you will rate other Linqians and provide them with feedback and advice as well.
You can use the report button or block this Linqian so that you no longer meet them in Hallway. Both buttons are at the bottom of the other Linqian's profile.
Yes, it is free. You can practice speaking English for 7 minutes everyday for free. But LinqiApp also offers you Premium plans with more features available.
It's easy to upgrade your membership plan on LinqiApp. You can upgrade your plan from "Membership" menu in the app's settings or on the Mission screen.
We call our users as Linqians. So, Linqian is a member of LinqiApp community who use the app and is engaged in learning and practicing English.
The main screen of LinqiApp is called "Hallway". It's where you can meet and chat with other Linqians from different countries and cultures. You can start chatting in English with other online Linqians by calling them directly or by using the "Magic Match" button to find a perfect match.
Missions are tasks you can do every day to practice and improve your English on LinqiApp. You earn linqoin by completing tasks like listening to a podcast, reading an article or watching a video and doing many more surprise missions. Missions are distributed in six different modes, including Fresh Starter, Shake-Off, Joker Power, Friend Quest, Global Challenge and Dominion Effect.
Linqoin is a virtual currency used on LinqiApp. You can earn linqoin by completing daily Missions, which can then be used to access premium features and unlock other Mission modes. The more linqoin you earn, the higher you will rank on the Ranking, which shows the top Linqians with the most chat time and linqoin.
Linqians can see their rank based on their daily, weekly, and all time chat minutes and the amount of linqoin they have earned and track their progress in Ranking. The Podium is a prestigious spot in the Ranking, representing the top three Linqians with the most activity and linqoin earned. Being on the Podium is a coveted achievement for Linqians, and it shows that they are highly active and dedicated to improving their English skills on the app.
